Research Department & Database

In accordance with Lark’s goal to make accessible as much information and source material as possible on topics of Armenian culture and music, The Research Department & Database was formed. This branch of the Research and Publication wing carries out the bulk of Lark’s translation, editing, and investigative work.

Here, academic texts on Armenian music are translated where necessary for use in international scholarship, physical compilations of rare and important musical works are collected into databases alongside biographies of influential Armenian musical figures, and most importantly, questions of Armenian music are carefully researched and explored for later public access.
