Dilijan Concert Series
The Dilijan Chamber Music Concert Series was launched in September 2005, at the Herbert Zipper Hall in downtown Los Angeles, under the artistic directorship of Movses Pogossian. This branch of the Lark Musical Society is dedicated completely to chamber works, providing audiences the chance to experience intimate compositions in an intimate setting. The series is committed to maintaining a roster of distinguished instrumentalist of an international caliber, bringing the treasury of Western classical chamber music to seasoned concertgoers and new devotees to the genre.
Dilijan holds dear a particular mission to integrate a plethora of prominent Armenian Chamber works alongside the known classics, for performance by these high caliber artists. As such, it regularly commissions new chamber music compositions from Armenian composers around the globe, producing their world premiers for Los Angeles audiences.
