Mission

Mission

The Lark Musical Society is dedicated to nurturing the Armenian musical arts within the matrix of American culture and Western classical music. The society realizes these goals through three independent but integrated areas of activity:

1. Education
2. Performance
3. Research & Publication

Through these activities, Lark strives to promote a deeper understanding of Armenian music from local to international levels, endeavors to shape a new generation of professional Armenian musicians and music lovers, and aims, in integrating them within the broader Los Angeles music community, to ensure the preservation of the Armenian artistic past, the perpetuation of its cultural patrimony, and the progression of Armenian arts with each new generation of artists.
