In 2005, Lark established a permanent home at 543 Arden Avenue, in Glendale, California.
The campus houses Lark Musical Society’s offices, as well as twelve classrooms for the Lark conservatory – utilized for one-on-one instrumental instruction, group instruction in music theory and performance, and as rehearsal rooms for students. The facility further boasts a large recital hall, operating as a rehearsal space for Lark’s large-scale concert projects, hosting Lark’s frequent lecture series’, and showcasing monthly and annual student recitals.
The campus also includes the Lark Cultural Annex, newly established as Lark’s own performance hall and exhibit space. The 4,000 square foot annex houses Lark’s music library and a collection of ancient Armenian cultural artifacts, while doubling as a performance hall with a permanent stage and retractable seating. The LCA serves as a central hub for our dedicated community of music lovers – expanding Lark Conservatory’s education opportunities, providing a physical base for Drazark Press, and establishing a home for cultural events, small banquets, and music programming.
